PLAYING WITH TIME

In 1999 the world prepared itself for the approaching 21st century.
My friends and I were finishing our philology studies and made amateur videos that documented how we were and what we expected from life. Later, we went our separate ways. After 10 years I decided to find my old friends.
Playing with time is the effect of these quests. On the one hand it’s a story of accidental choices. On the other, is about the destiny that cannot pass us by.. The film searches for answers to the most important questions and attempts to describe the fundamental issues pertaining to all of us – who we are and what are we doing here…

Jarosław Wszędybył

Graduate of polish philology. PhD student at the Film and Television Direction Department of Polish National Film School in Lodz. He had been educated by the giants of Polish documentary: Kazimierz Karabasz and Lidia Zonn. He works in both – fiction and documentary as well. Apart from filmmaking activities he is a lecturer at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw.
