THE COURTYARD

One of many similar, yet a completly unique courtyard that keeps dozens of vivid memories. For the protagonist – a young boy, it constitutes a safe place, where he’s being brough up and first experiences joy, curiosity and friendship. After years, as a grown up man he tries to bring back the memories of those happy days that are now gone. The courtyard that over the past few years has changed a lot still remains a place where joy, sorrow and longing for the bygone happiness are brought together. In his memory the man still cherishes his childhood days. He perceives shapes, colours and sounds with suprising fidelity. “Courtyard” is a melancholic story that shows an attept of bringing back the days of childhood carlessness and reflects a profound longing for a world that is irretrivably gone.
