Last weeks of the cold winter. A drab and desolated province. 7-year-old boy, left without proper care, is looking for a companion to play. Despised and ridiculed by his peers, he decides to build a snowman. The snowman becomes a “prosthesis” for a coveted friend. But soon events take a dangerous turn. The animated story of empathy, suppressing emotions and maturation, which combines traditional and digital animation techniques.

Kacper Zamarło

Born in 1986. Film director, screenwriter, animator, photographer and sound editor. The graduate of the Cinematography Department in the National Polish Film School in Lodz. Author of the festival spots, motion titles for film and television and movie trailers. Organizer of the animation screenings and workshops. Multiple winner of state scholarships, inter alia, from Prime Minister of Poland and from Minister of Culture and National Heritage. Author of short films: "Blow" (2007), "Triangle" (2008), "Some Very Unusual Evening" (2009), "Casting" (2011) & "Carrot Field" (2016)
