POLISH ANIMATED FILMS IN BRAZIL

Tomorrow starts the 16th edition of the Mumia Underground World Animation Festival in Brazil. In the competition, there are as many as seven Polish short animated films.

Mumia Underground World Animation Festival, as the name suggests, concentrates on the promotion of the latest independent short animated films from all over the world.  Every year, two competitions are held at the festival: the national and the international one. Specially selected films are invited to both competitions.

This year, as many as seven Polish animated films will compete for the awards in the international competition. The Brazilian audience, together with the jury, will watch “Impossible Figures and Other Stories II” by Marta Pajek, “Pussy” by Renata Gąsiorowska,  “Foreign Bodyby Marta Magnuska, „MVP” by Artur Marcol, “Ink Meets Blank” by Tymon  Albrzykowski, “Strange Case” by Zbigniew Czapla and“Grandpa’s Desk” by Daria Kopiec.
