Mosor Film Festival was established in 2014 and is an event devoted to cinema and literature promoting the beauty and uniqueness of the mountains, their nature, culture, climbing, and extreme sports. The festival is held at the beginning of autumn. This year, it took place from 9 to 12 September.
Its program included Marcin Polar’s film. “The Tough” received a special jury award. The name of the mountain carries many meanings: defiant, malicious, resistant, unbending, strong, enduring, cool, hard. It’s not without reason that the film’s protagonist gave this name to his discovery – a place he has to face and whose features – as listed above – can be felt quite tangibly. It stimulates his imagination and pushes him forward in a crude and obsessive way. With the camera at his side, step by step, he explores previously unknown spaces despite their increasing resistance against delicate human matter.
