The IndieLisboa – International Film Festival is held annually in Lisbon and showcases a wide range of independent films from around the world. The World Festival of Animated Film – Animafest Zagreb took place for the first time in 1972 and – after Annecy – it's the second oldest film festival entirely dedicated to animation and one of the most important festivals in the world devoted to this subject.The list of all winners can be found here.
The Polish animated film was recognised at both events. In Portugal, the film received the Silvestre Award for the best short film of the festival, and in Croatia, it received a Special Award from one of the jurors, Malte Stein.
