ZOOM POLAND AT THE FESTIVAL IN LJUBLJANA

A special screening named ZOOM POLAND will be featured in the programme of the fifth edition of Ljubljana International Short Film Festivals. There are five fiction films to be screened.

 This year’s programme of the festival was composed of 82 short films produced in 27 countries. Apart from a the competitive section, featuring films made after year 2000, there are also two special screening highlighting the outcome of Poland and Germany. The Slovenian audience will watch five films in frames of special screening entitled ZOOM POLAND – “Journey” by Dariusz Glazer, “A boat” by Michał Szcześniak, “Newbie” by Tomasz Olejarczyk, “Hanoi-Warsaw” by Katarzyna Klimkiewicz and “Watermelon” by Tato Kotetishvili. It is worth to mention that the tradition of organizing a focus screening devoted to one particular country originated with the first edition of the festival. So far the festival hosted such counties as Italy, Austria and Finland to name just a few.

The fith edition of the LISFF will be held between 1st and 3rd April
