“THE BEST FIREWORKS EVER” WITH TWO AWARDS IN CANNES

On the 25th of May, there was the award ceremony La Semaine de la Critique in Cannes. As many as two awards went to the short feature film "The Best Fireworks Ever" by Aleksandra Terpińska.

"The Best Fireworks Ever," directed by Aleksandra Terpińska, participated in the short film competition of the section Semaine de la Critique. The films in this competition were evaluated by the jury, consisting of: Kleber Mendonçy Filho, Diana Bustamante Escobar, Eric Kohn, Hania Mroué and Niels Schneider.

In Cannes, the film by Aleksandra Terpińska won as many as two awards: the CANAL+ award for short film and the Rail d'Or award.

The film "The Best Fireworks Ever" is set in one of the contemporary European cities. It tells the story about one day in the lives of three young friends, who, confronted with an armed conflict in their country, have to modify their plans for the future. Justyna Wasilewska, Malwina Buss and Piotr Polak play the main roles in the film. Michał Dymek is responsible for cinematography, whereas Beata Rzeźniczek was the film's executive producer.

The film's producer is Munk Studio, operating by the Polish Filmmakers Association.
