DOC: PAWEŁ CHORZĘPA’S ‘THE TUNERS’ IN COMPETITION AT THE 35TH HOT SPRINGS DOCUMENTARY FF

Paweł Chorzępa’s 'The Tuners' is not slowing down and is heading to its next major festival stop. The film has been selected for the short film competition at the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival in Arkansas — a festival that qualifies entries for the Oscars® in the Documentary Short Film category.

‘The Tuners’ will be screened as part of the Short Competition, a section dedicated to short films. This is yet another international screening of Paweł Chorzępa’s film, which has been shown at festivals across Europe, Asia and North America in recent months.

The Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival is the oldest continuously running documentary film festival in North America. For over three decades, it has been held in Hot Springs, Arkansas, showcasing the most significant contemporary documentary productions from around the world. The festival is also an Oscar® qualifying event, and its competition serves as an important platform for short documentary filmmakers.

This year’s edition of the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival will take place from 9 to 17 October 2026. For ‘The Tuners’, this will mark the next stage in the film’s international journey, as it continues to feature in the programmes of major documentary and short film festivals around the world.
