ANIM: “ACID RAIN” WINS IN KOREA

This time, the animated film by Tomek Popakul won the twenty-first edition of the Korean Bucheon International Animation Festival.

“Acid Rain” defeated thirty rivals from all over the world, winning the BIAF Grand Prize for the best short animated film. The awards were decided by a jury consisting of Lee Minkyu, Céline Devaux and Anna Budanova.

The Bucheon International Festival was founded in 1999 and for over 20 years, its aim has been to promote the real charm of animated films, and among the award-winners, there are many internationally renowned productions. In addition to the short film competition, the feature-length films also compete for the awards.
