SHORTS: ANOTHER AWARD FOR “PLAY”

The film by Piotr Sułkowski won the best short film award during the third edition of the Polish International Film Festival.

The festival has been taking place in Warsaw for several years. From the 21st to the 25th of October, it showed its audience the films from all over the world. “Play” is the winner of the short film section together with three other films: “Bug” by Krzysztof Wróbel, “Diaspora Art Student” by Panatogiotis Tolias and “Table For Two” by Michael Mizgalski and Charles Mitri.

“Play” tells the story of a man consumed by the sense of guilt because he was not brave enough to defend his mother. He plays the role of her murderer and forces his ten-year-old self to confront the trauma.
