The film “The Idea Is Paramount” was invited to these screenings and it showcaes the unknown face of Andrzej Wajda. The director reveals himself as an architecture enthusiast, an initiator of bold changes in Krakow’s public space and a promoter of Japanese and Eastern culture in Poland. The documentary’s inspiration came from the director’s meeting with architect Krzysztof Ingarden in 1987 and the resulting friendship and many years of creative collaboration, which brought upon in the creation of buildings emblematic for modern design in Poland.
