Fanatic tells the story of a fair-haired knight who, driven by a thirst for yet another victory, ventures into a mysterious labyrinth. The deeper he goes, the more he comes to recognise the futility of his quest. In its depths, the hero engages in an absurd fight, losing sight of the true danger. To emerge victorious, he must get rid of everything that has defined him so far.
The film will be presented in the Night Vision section, whose programme combines elements of the uncanny, the unclassifiable, and the downright strange into a thrilling, cult-worthy blend of science fiction, fantasy, folklore, and twisted visions.
The Glasgow screening will mark the film’s world premiere. The film is produced by Animoon.
