The film is a portrait of people searching for love. A French aristocrat hires a professional matchmaker to help him find a wife from Poland. Meetings with successive candidates reveal the women’s fears, expectations and concealable wishes. Will the search end successfully?
The film was produced within the frame of „The First Documentary” Programme – held by Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing, the Andrzej Munk Studio “The Young and Film” within Polish Filmmakers Association, Polish Film Institute, Polish Television.

Michał Marczak

Studied film directing at California Institute of Arts. A graduate of Fine Arts Academy in Poznan and Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing. He is member of European Film Academy and Polish Film Academy. Director of the films "A women sought", "At the edge of Russia" and "Fuck for Forest". He has received several awards, among others: Cinema Eye Honors, Silver Eye and Grand Prix of Zagreb Film Festival.
