HOUSE OF ANTS

A full of humor portrait of a relationship between a single mother Kasia who comes from the aesthetic fashion world and her 14-year-old son Oskar who develops his strange collection of insects. He brings home species after species – ants, spiders, scorpions, and others, repeatedly overstepping mother’s boundaries. A difficult mother-and-son relationship evolves, tension rises leading to inevitable threat and ultimate confrontation. But they both have to learn how to grow up and respect each other’s personal spheres. “House of Ants” is a coming-of-age story about passion, love and respecting the differences between people and boundaries in a shared space.
