Rafał is thirty and works as a barber. His fiancé, Kamila, has just dumped him. She chose a career in a corporation and a man in an expensive suit, to go with it. Rafał still loves Kamila and lives with her parents. Her father, a secret service officer under communism, is racked by nightmares. He stopped to talk. Instead, he keeps walking all the time. The mother has already had enough of her husband’s quirks but her biggest obsession is a rat that lives in the house. Rafał meets Maja.
