To live even if just for one moment?  Michael is introducing us to the world of his theatre and with his gentle moves he is bringing it to life for the last time…for the last time he is catching the magnificent essence of the European culture and history. Michael  Meschke is one of these people; he is one of the greatest living marionette masters in the world, man with all his memories, creations an of the past, secrets and forgotten dreams.

Theatre is not only his workshop it’s his life. His marionettes are not only part of the theatre; they are becoming the reflections of human beings. And when Michael cannot give them his voice anymore, others will help him to bring in life into marionettes; to give them real voice like Irene Jacob, Jeanne Moreau, Michaela Meshke, Arne, Horche and others, those who are still alive and those who are long forgotten and those who will continue. Michael’s life is a celebration of sort of immortality and perseverance.
