THE NOTEBOOK

Notebook is a film showing the school reality in a distorting mirror. The reason for its creation was the author’s finding of a notebook with notes of a third-grade pupil. Part of the notes contained therein, in a slightly modified form, scrolls through the film, in the form of a news bar – it is a reference to television programs, reporting the events of theday. An additional inspiration was the work of Witold Gombrowicz “Ferdydurke”,which seems to be still valid.
