THE OPTIMIST

OPTIMISTA

Mateusz is eight years old and he’s just started a sailing course for young beginners. He takes to the sea in his one-person, Optimist dinghy, hauling sail himself and taking the tiller himself. And fighting. Fighting the untamed waves of the Baltic and, first and foremost … fighting his own fear. Learning to sail is a tough, character-building venture. Can Mateusz succeed in conquering his weaknesses? Face up to the first test of his life? And pass it, all flags flying?
