„Ula” it’s a moving story about emancipation: of a woman, an artist and an emigrant, shot in Super 8 with unique private archives containing exquisite moments captured in New York of the 70, with participation of the best jazzmen: Stan Getz, Wayne Shorter, Joe Zawinul, Jaco Pastorius, Kenny Kirkland and including a unique private voice messages of Jerzy Kosiński the author of a “Painted Bird” from Urszula Dudziak’s private archive. It’s a story about finding one’s voice with greatest jazz tunes including last recordings of Chet Baker.

Agnieszka Iwańska

Journalist, co-author and host of radio and television programs on TVP2, CANAL+, TV4, RMF FM, Polsat News, Radio WaWa. Lecturer, legal adviser, commentator. A graduate of the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Law and Administration. She completed a documentary course at the Andrzej Wajda Master School. Author of the monodrama “Life is not a sin” based on the autobiography of Urszula Dudziak. “Ula” is her directorial debut awarded in the International DocFilm Music competition with Golden Heynal at Krakow Film Festival 2023.
