Tampere Festiwal will take place between March 7th and 11th. This year two Polish films were officially selected by the festival. ”Bernard” by Anna Oparkowska was invited to the animation competition, and ”Carousel” by Patrycja Polkowska to the international competition Family Ties.
The festival will also host special programme presenting Polish shorts and animations. During the first screening the audience will see: ”Dust” by Jakub Radej, ”The Boys” by Paweł Orwat, ”Object” by Paulina Skibińska and ”Hot and Cold” by Marta Prus.
During the second screening the festival will present: ”Polonaise” by Agnieszka Elbanowska, ”Morning Has Broken” by Olga Chajdas, ”Pinky” by Tomasz Cichoń, ”Springs Have Gone, Winters Are Coming” by Karol Pałka and ”The Best Fireworks Ever” by Aleksandra Terpińska.
The third screening will be devoted to animations and will consist of the following films: ”Black” by Tomasz Popakul, ”Pussy” by Renata Gąsiorowska, ”Leaven” by Artur Hanaj, ”Fish Shop” by Maria Kulpa, ”Moczarski's Case” by Tomasz Siwiński, ”Don't Lose Your Head” by Karolina Specht, ”Foreign Body” by Marta Magnuska, ”Super Film” by Piotr Kabat and ”Lexicon of Reflections” by Urszula Reszczyńska.
The following Polish directors of the presented films will be among the festival guests: Tomasz Popakul, Jakub Radej, Maria Kulpa, Anna Oparkowska, and also Marta Świątek from KFF Sales & Promotion.
