SHORT FILM FESTIVALS IN FEBRUARY

Winter also touches the festivals, that is why in February Polish short films appear only in a few places abroad. Let's find out at which festivals you can watch Polish productions this month.

Mumbai International Film Festival in India, which started in January, shows the film "A Brave Bunch. Children of Warsaw Uprising" by Tomasz Stankiewicz. At Manipulate Film Festival in Great Britain, which also started in January, you can watch the film "Evening" by Izabela Plucińska.

February starts with the children's film festival Cinedoc Kids in Greece, where "Volte" by Monika Kotecka and Karolina Poryzała will be shown, as well as San Francisco Independent Film Festival, where "On the Road" by Bartosz Nowacki will appear, and the animated film festival Animac in Spain, with the competition screening of the animated film "XOXO – Hugs and Kisses" by Wiola Sowa.

A day after that, starts Victoria Film Festival in Canada, where you can watch "Mother" by Piotr Gołębiewski.

At one of the most important short film festivals in Europe, Clermont-Ferrand International Film Festival in France, the films "Dust" by Jakub Radej, "Tremors" by Dawid Bodzak and "Jerry" by Roman Przylipiuk will vie for the awards in the competition.

The festival record-breaker of the month is almost invariably "Pussy" by Renata Gąsiorowska. In January, this animated film will be shown at six festivals: Bobines Sociales in France, La Boca Erotica in Spain, Divers VLC in Spain, Mardi Gras in Australia, Zinegoak in Spain and Go East in Switzerland. There, "Close Ties" by Zofia Kowalewska also will be shown, whereas you can watch "Black" by Tomasz Popakul at Forum For Animation Films in Egypt.

The month ends with the festival ZagrebDOX, in the programme of which, there is the documentary film "How to Become a Pope?" by Justyna Mytnik.
