“Between the frames” programme features twelve animated film produced in Poland between 2005 and 2011, represented by Krakow Film Foundation. All of them exemplify most intriguing trends of contemporary Polish animation, combining poetry of narration, visual elegance and excellent use of music. Apart from well known “Ritual” (Z. Czapla), “Gallery” (R. Proch) and “Millhaven” (B. Kulas) in the very same programme one will also watch the poignant “B-1033” (P. Kryszak) and visually disquieting “At Saint Vincent’s” (S. Furman). A number of films in the programme were made by the graduates of University of Arts in Poznań – "Games", “Loading” and “What happens when children don’t eat soup” already screened at international film festivals – will they however repeat the success of “Gallery” by Robert Proch?
