Ramsgate International Film & TV Festival is a small festival held in the picturesque city of Kent. It is said to be the fastest growing film festival in the South West of England. The event was created only 5 years ago and was initiated by Sylvie Bolioli and Christopher Scutt. The outstanding, award-winning British actress Brenda Blethyn is its honourary patron. This year's edition took place at the beginning of June.
The film is focused around the halny foehn wind – one of the most unpredictable forces in the Polish mountains. Most halny occur every spring and autumn. You never know if and when will it turn into a destructive gale. Halny affects the residents of Zakopane and its surrounding area the most, subjecting picturesque mountain trails to nature’s untamed strength.
