Over 1500 short film productions from all over the world were submitted to this year's edition of the Reggio Film Festival. In the international competition, two Polish feature films were included and both returned from Italy with awards.
"Evil Deeds" by Piotr Domalewski won the Laity Award for the balance with which the film depicts the ethical-religious concerns of a teenager, at the same time showing the discovery of human mercy in an ordered and cool environment.
The second film awarded in Italy is "Romantik" by Mateusz Rakowicz. The feature film received the Special Mention. The jury appreciated the film because, under the guise of a Pole's night-time adventure in Paris, the feature film shows a bitter reflection that being an "illegal" is a part of every one of us.
