This film presents the vagrant life and troubles of two families with a vast panorama. The film features naturalness, exquisiteness, and mild but with passion. The scenes of the film are real and smooth, sober but also poetic. While giving a vivid picture of the cruel reality and unfairness in life, the film also reveals the warmth and merit of human nature – the jury announced delivering the verdict.
"Argentinian Lesson" tells the story of seven-year-old Janek, the director’s son, who along with his parents goes to Argentina. For the little protagonist the trip is not only an encounter with a new language. Assisted by his Argentinean friend, little Janek will enter the fascinating world of games but also discover the bitter taste of childhood, prematurely tainted with the adults’ problems, he has not known about so far.
