Festival was set up eighteen years ago with the intention of exposing cutting edge student work produced at film and art schools in US and abroad. Every year the festival screens several films representing all short genres from documentary to experimental film. NextFrame finalists are chosen by the end of the year for the following year’s exhibition at university campuses, museums, media art centers and independent theaters throughout the US and around the globe.
