The short documentary ‘The Tuners’, directed by Paweł Chorzępa, has been included in the official selection of the 55th edition of the Spanish ALCINE festival. The film will compete in the European competition.
ALCINE, which has been held since 1970, is one of the longest-running and most prestigious short film festivals in Spain and Europe. The event promotes the work of young filmmakers, audiovisual innovation and auteur cinema, combining film competitions with industry meetings and audience development initiatives. This year’s festival will take place from 5 to 15 November in Alcalá de Henares, near Madrid.
The European competition presents a selection of the most interesting contemporary short films and serves as a platform for promoting films on the international stage.
At exactly the same time, the film will be screened once again across the Atlantic. The 35th St. Louis International Film Festival will take place from 5 to 15 November, and the festival has invited “The Tuners” to compete in its short film competition. Since 1992, SLIFF has been promoting independent cinema through local screenings of films telling stories from around the world.
