ANIM: POLISH FILM HONORED AT SHORTS MÉXICO

At the 20th anniversary edition of Shorts México – International Short Film Festival of Mexico, the largest short film festival in Latin America, Joanna Płatek’s film “Four Walls of Memory” received an Honorable Mention in the International Animation Competition.

For years, Shorts México has served as a significant platform for presenting short films from around the world, promoting bold and original artistic visions and supporting the development of the short film format.

Four Walls of Memory tells the story of a young woman who, in an attempt to escape her fears, unexpectedly traps herself with them in a small forest cabin. Confined within four walls and with no way out, she must confront hunger, cold, and trauma, symbolized by the presence of a dead creature lying beside her.

Participation in this prestigious festival and the Honorable Mention highlight the growing international recognition of Polish animation and its creators.
