At this year’s Zagreb Film Festival will be held from 17th to 23rd of October, offering the Croatian audience an extremely rich film programme, diverse as far as the form, genre and topics are concerned. Feature films as well as documentaries, short as well as featurelong films are shown.
The films presented at the festival will compete for the main prize, “The Golden Pram”, in each of four competition section: feature film’s competition, documentary film’s competition, short feature film’s competition and also Croatian film’s competition.
The following Polish short films qualified for this year’s competition programme of Zagreb Film Festival: Renata Gabryjelska’s documentary film “Getting on”, depicting a complicated relationship between mother and her daughter, also Tomasz Wysokiński’s “Incantatio” – documentary story about one of the most famous Polish performers, who is passionately fond of butoh dance, and short fiction film by Leszek Korusiewicz, „The scent of flowers does not blow against the wind” that refers to the Decalogue First Commandment “You shall have no other gods before me” and has been accomplished as a part of “Decalogue 89+” project.
