Every year The Smalls Film Festival presents the best short films from around the world. It first took place in London in 2006 as an event that brings together filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts. The program mainly includes award-winning productions, so the event is a kind of a best-of review of what has been happening in shorts in recent months.
Julia Orlik’s film is one such title. This Will Not Be a Festival Film had conquered festival after festival and was invited to London to win yet another accolade before the London audience.
This one-sentence description is like my film – non-festival. A film about a film school student who is working on her graduation film.
