SHORTS: MORE AWARDS FOR “A DEAD MARRIAGE”
Michał Toczek's film has won the Grand Prix award at the Tbilisi International Student Film Festival shortly after returning from the Nashville Film Festival with an audience award.

ANIM: “THIS WILL NOT BE A FESTIVAL FILM” WINS YET ANOTHER AWARD
Contrary to its title, the animated short by Julia Orlik won another award. This time the film was recognised as the best student production at The Smalls Film Festival in the UK.
ANIM: “CRAB” WINS OSCAR-QUALIFYING AWARD
It was bound to happen. The animated film by Piotr Chmielewski has had an excellent run at festivals for quite some time now and brought numerous distinctions and awards. The latest win happened at the Edmonton International Film Festival in Canada and turned out to be the one qualifying for the famous American awards.
POLISH FILMS IN DOK LEIPZIG PROGRAM
We've learned the program of one of the most important documentary and animated film festivals. As usual, there is no shortage of Polish representation in the competitions and non-competitive segments. One strong highlight will be the special retrospective “Film and Protest – Popular Uprisings in The Cold War”.
ANIM: “ZIMA” WINS IN OTTAWA
The animated film by Tomek Popakul and Kasumi Ozeki stole the hearts of jurors at the famous Ottawa International Animation Festival in Canada. It was named best narrative short of the festival.
“UNCLE VAKHO’S DREAM” NAMED BEST FILM AT ELBE DOCK
The short documentary by Joanna Rój returns with the ELBE DOCK 2023 Award for best film from the Czech-German 6th International Film Festival ELBE DOCK, which is held in Ústí nad Labem and Dresden.
DOCS: “A LITTLE BIT OF PARADISE” WINS IN NORWAY
The short film by Andrzej Cichocki was named the best documentary film at the Oslo Short Film Festival in Norway.
“CRAB” GETS AUDIENCE’S FAVOUR IN BRAZILc
The audience gathered at the Sao Paulo International Short Film Festival was delighted by Piotr Chmielewski's animated film. They picked it as one of the event's ten best films.

The short film by Michał Toczek is taking more international festivals by storm. This time the production has been invited to one of the oldest events of its kind in the US.
DOCS: “PIANOFORTE” US CINEMA RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED
The documentary by Jakub Piątek has been picked up by an American distributor and is going to hit cinemas on 1 December. This award-winning film is attracting huge interest, with some even predicting an Oscar nomination.

Monika Proba's film was named best short film of the IceDocs Documentary Film Festival in Iceland.

Izumi Yoshida's film was recognized as the best animation short at the Short Shorts Film Festival&Asia.
