Polish documentary films are again successful at mountain film festivals. This time, there was a deluge of awards at Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival and at Bilbao Mendi Film Festival.
On December 13 ended the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana. In the Documentary Film Competition, the Polish-Mexican co-production "Casa Blanca" by Aleksandra Maciuszek won the award.
Good news come from the frosty Alaska. "Super Unit" by Teresa Czepiec was awarded at Anchorage International Film Festival.
There is only one month left in this year. In December, Polish animated films will be present, among others, at the festivals held in Brazil, Iran and Slovenia.
On the evening of 12th December, the 12th edition of the Slovenian Animated Film Festival Animaeka came to an end. Grand Prix of the festival went to a Polish film – "Summer 2014" by Wojciech Sobczyk.
Vahram Mkhitaryan can boast yet another award. His film "Milky Brother" was chosen the Best Short Fiction Film at the Olympia International Film Festival, which ended on December 5.
The organisers of the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival announced the selection results. Three Polish films will be screened in the International Competition, - "A Documentary Film" by Marcin Podolec, "No matter what happens, I love you” by Justyna Mytnik and "Sexy Laundry" by Izabela Plucińska. Poland will be also represented at the co-production forum Euro Connection, in which the project "Deer boy" by Katarzyna Gondek, produced by Centrala Film, will participate.
In recent month, the documentary film by Paweł Wysoczański won yet another award. This time, at the French festival Autrans.

The documentary film "A Promise of A Happy Childhood" by Ryszard Kaczyński and Piotr Morawski was awarded at Al Jazeera International Documentary Film Festival.
Polish documentary films are again triumphant at the Mountain Film Festival. This time, in Bansko, Bulgaria, where "Jurek" by Paweł Wysoczański was awarded, as well as "K2. Touching the Sky" by Eliza Kubarska.
Witold Giersz is the special guest of this year's edition of the animated film festival Tindirindis in Lithuania. The Polish director will give the masterclass in Vilnius and will sit on the festival jury.
