NEW FILMS IN KFF SALES&PROMOTION CATALOGUE
In the second half of the year we got some new films at our KFF Sales&Promotion catalogue. The selected films include seven documentaries, three shorts and one animation.
NEW ISSUE OF “FOCUS ON POLAND”
The 11th issue of the Focus on Poland magazine is now available online! It contains interviews with filmmakers, film reviews, and articles on what's been happening in the world of Polish documentaries, shorts, and animated films in recent months.
SHORTS: “PROBLEM” AWARDED AT CANADIAN FESTIVAL
The short fiction by Tomasz Wolski was recognised at the Shorts That Are Not Pants Film Festival in the US. The entire event was held remotely.
SHORTS/ANIM: POLISH FILMS AT SLAMDANCE
It's shaping up to be an absolutely unique edition of the American festival. Its program includes a total of seven Polish films. From narrative films, through animated ones and documentaries, to an interactive experience.
DOCS: “THE WIND. A DOCUMENTARY THRILLER” NAMED BEST DOCUMENTARY IN HUNGARY
Michał Bielawski's film was recognised as the best documentary at this year's edition of Mediawave - Another Connection International Film & Music Gathering in Hungary.
SHORTS: “BEYOND IS THE DAY” WINS IN FRANCE
Damian Kocur's excellent run continues. This time his latest short film won at the International Short Film Festival Tous Courts of Aix-en-Provence in France.
DOCS: “FAT KATHY” AWARDED IN ITALY
The film by Julia Pełka won the Fellini Award for the best documentary at the Amarcort Film Festival in Italy.
ANIM: “I’M HERE” AND “CO-OGNITION” GET SPECIAL MENTIONS IN ITALY
Two Polish animated films were appreciated by the jury of the Italian Piccolo Festival Animazione. The films by Julia Orlik and Przemysław Świda returned from the festival with special mentiones.
SHORTS: “LAST DAYS OF SUMMER” RECEIVES THREE AWARDS IN FRANCE
Klaudia Kęska came back from France's Brest European Short Film Festival with three awards.
ANIM/SHORT: “I’M HERE” AND “FIRST LAST SUMMER” AWARDED IN RUSSIA
It was a unique edition of the VGIK International Student Festival. Two Polish productions returned from Moscow with awards.
DOCS: KACPER LISOWSKI’S “JUDGES UNDER PRESSURE” ENTER KFF SALES&PROMOTION CATALOGUE
The world premiere of Kacper Lisowski's film will take place at the currently ongoing IDFA festival. The documentary has also found its way to the KFF Sales&Promotion catalogue, which means that the agency will be promoting it at international festivals.
ANIM: “CRUMBS OF LIFE” NAMED BEST ANIMATED FILM IN SPAIN
Katarzyna Miechowicz's film received the Mikeldi Award at this year's edition of the Spanish ZINEBI-International Festival of Documentary and Short Film of Bilbao.
