We've finally got to know the entire festival program at DOK Leipzig. Other Polish productions have joined Paweł Łoziński's The Balcony Movie and Izabela Plucińska's 98 kg. The documentaries Light Years by Monika Proba and Bucolic by Karol Pałka along with the animated Crumbs of Life by Katarzyna Miechowicz and Impossible Figures and Other Stories I by Marta Pajek are going to compete in their respective categories.

After the IDFA Specials show, it's time to participate in the festival itself. The latest documentary by Paweł Łoziński has been invited to its Masters section. Tomasz Wolski's film, in turn, will be shown in the Best of Fests section.

The first titles in this year's Dok Leipzig festival have been announced. The latest films by Paweł Łoziński and Izabela Plucińska will have a chance to win in the new competition where prizes are awarded by the audience. “The Balcony Movie” has also been nominated for the MDR award given to the most interesting documentaries from Eastern Europe.
“BEYOND IS THE DAY” GETS A CHANCE FOR EUROPEAN FILM AWARDS NOMINATION
We've learned the 25 short films that have a chance to be nominated for the European Film Awards. Damian Kocur's film is also included in this extremely prestigious group. The official gala will be held on 11 December in Berlin.
“BALCONY CONCERT” TO HAVE ITS INTERNATIONAL AT VALLADOLID FESTIVAL
The film by Krzysztof and Diana Kadłubowski was invited to one of the competitions of the prestigious festival Semana Internacional de Cine de Valladolid.
ANIM: “I’M HERE” AWARDED IN FRANCE
This isn't the end of Julia Orlik's winning streak. This time the film was awarded first prize in the international competition at the Festival International du Court Métrage de Lille in France.
DOCS: “XABO: FATHER BONIECKI” WINS GRAND PRIX
The documentary by Aleksandra Potopczak won the International Documentary Film Festival Flahertiana in Russia.
ANIM: “STORY” WINS AWARD AT ROMANIAN FESTIVAL
The animated film by Jola Bańkowska was recognised during this year's edition of the ABIFF festival in Romania.
ANIM: “MY FAT ARSE AND I” AWARDED IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
At this year's edition of the Zlín Film Festival, Yelyzaveta Pysmak's work was named best international animated film while the Polish co-production received a special mention.
