POLISH ANIMATIONS AT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS IN DECEMBER
December brings in the cold weather and due to the festive season the festival season slows down. Majority of film events will take place at the beginning of the month and that is when Polish animations will be shown to the audiences in Europe and Central America. POLISH ANIMATED FILMS IN BRAZIL

The film by Marcin Borchardt “THE BEKSIŃSKIS. A Sound and Picture Album” will be shown in the competition section at Slamdance Festival. Festival will be held from 25th to 31st January.
“SQUARING THE CIRCLE” AWARDED AT ETIUDA&ANIMA
Karolina Specht's animation was awarded by the international Jury of the ANIMA competition and won the Silver Jabberwocky at the 25th International Film Festival Etiuda&Anima.
TWO POLISH FILMS AWARDED IN ITALY
On the 19th of November ended the Italian Reggio Film Festival. As many as two Polish shorts films were appreciated during the event.
“DANCING FOR YOU” WINS AT IDFA
On November 21, the award ceremony at the IDFA - International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam was held. Three Polish documentary films: "Dancing for You" by Katarzyna Lesisz, "In Touch" by Paweł Ziemilski and "Summa" by Andrei Kutsila return from the festival IDFA with awards.
POLISH ANIMATIONS IN MONTREAL
The 17th edition of Les Sommets du Cinema d'Animation - Montreal International Festival begins this week. Four Polish animations were invited to this year's international competition.
“TANGO OF LONGING” AWARDED IN PORTUGAL

”HORSE RIDERS” WINS GOLDEN FROG AT CAMERIMAGE
On November 17th the official award ceremony of the 26th Camerimage International Film Festival took place in Bydgoszcz, Poland. The Golden Frog award of the Documentary Shorts Competition went to ”Horse Riders” by Anna Gawlita.
