Last weekend brought new laurels to Polish filmmakers! Poles scored two top awards of the Italian Euganea Film Festival, that came to an end last Saturday.

„GLASGOW” AWARDED IN TURKEY
This month short fiction „Glasgow” directed by Piotr Subbotko travelled to Turkey where the film was screened in the competition of the festival in Eregli. Last Sunday, at the closing gala, the film received the Second Award in the short cathegory.
„WITHOUT SNOW” ANNOUNCED THE BEST FICTION OF CURTAS
Yesterday evening in Portuguese Vila do Conde “Without snow” by Magnus von Horn received the award for the Best Fiction Film of the 20th edition of Short Film Festival Curtas Vila do Conde.

The tenth, jubilee edition of Tabor Film Festival set off last Sunday in Croatian Zabok. This year Poland was invited as a guest country to present its short cinematography at the festival.
ANIMATION BY PAWEŁ PREWENCKI AWARDED IN PORTUGAL
"What happens when children don't eat soup" by Paweł Prewencki received the award for the best animated film within the frames of the Portuguese film festival - FEST, which took place from 1st to 8th July in Portuguese Espinho.
ANIMATED „RITUAL” AWARDED IN ITALY
On 30th June the 7th edition of the Sardinia Short Film Festival reach its end. “The Ritual” directed by Zbigniew Czapla that represented Poland in the competition, was acclaimed the best animation of the festival.
FOUR DAYS AND THREE AWARDS FOR POLISH SHORT FILMS
The last four days brought three international awards to the young, Polish filmmakers. Our films were listed among the laureates of the festivals held in Brazil, Slovakia and England.
“ARGENTINIAN LESSON” WINS MAKEDOX
Last Friday, the documentary film festival Makedox in Macedonian Skopje ended. Among the awarded films, there are Polish titles.
„KICHOT” AT KARLOVE VARY!
„Kichot” directed by Jagoda Szelc was accepted to the documentary competition of the 47th Karolovy Vary International Film Festival.
“3 DAYS OF FREEDOM” – THE PRIZE-WINNER IN SPAIN
Last Saturday, 40th edition of the short film festival, taking place from 9th June in Spanish Huesca, ended. From among 33 the films presented in the documentary competition, the jury appreciated and honoured the documentary film "3 Days of Freedom" by Łukasz Borowski.
