TWO POLISH FILMS WIN THE AUDIENCE AWARD AT CINEAST
This weekend, the festival CinEast in Luxembourg ended. The Audience Award in the short film category went to the documentary film "Education" by Emi Buchwald and the feature film "Romantik" by Mateusz Rakowicz.
AWARDS FOR THE FILMS FROM GDYNIA FILM SCHOOL
Last week brought two awards for the films from Gdynia Film School. "Tenderness" directed by Emilia Zielonka was honoured in Brno, and "Grandma's Day" by Miłosz Sakowski won acclaim in Los Angeles.
POLISH STUDENT FILM ETUDES AT CAMERIMAGE
Today, the selection of the films to the Student Etudes Competition at the 24th edition of CAMERIMAGE, the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography was announced. Among the qualified films, there are Polish productions.
POLISH REPRESENTATION IN VILNIUS
On October 13, started the 10th edition of the festival Inconvenient Films in Vilnius. In the programme, there are Polish documentary films.
“CASA BLANCA” WINS MARGARET MEAD FF
Last weekend ended Margaret Mead Film Festival in New York City. The main award went to Aleksandra Maciuszek for her film "Casa Blanca."
“COMMUNION” AND “FIRST POLE ON MARS” WIN AT WFF!
Warsaw Film Festival ended last Sunday. The main award, both in short film competition and documentary film competition, went to Polish productions.
7 SILVER EYE NOMINATIONS FOR POLISH FILMS
As every year, the East Silver Market gives an opportunity to watch almost 50 latest documentaries produced or co-produced in Poland. Seven of them have been nominated to the Silver Eye awards for the best documentaries shown during the Market.
“AMERICA” WINS IN GERMANY
On October 8, ended the German festival Filmfest Eberswalde. The film "America" by Aleksandra Terpińska won the award in Germany.

Korean festival Ulju Mountain Film Festival International announced the winners of this year's edition. "Jurek" by Paweł Wysoczański was honoured with the Grand Prize.
EUROPEAN PREMIERE OF “21 X NEW YORK”
The results of the official selection of the Spanish festival Valladolid have already been announced. The documentary film "21 x New York City" by Piotr Stasik will have its international première here.
“SUPER UNIT” AWARDED IN PERUGIA
On October 8, ended the Italian festival PerSo - Perugia Social Film Festival, during which "Super Unit" by Teresa Czepiec was awarded.
POLISH DOCUMENTARY FILMS AT THE FESTIVAL IDFA
Nine Polish documentary films qualified for the participation in this year's edition of the IDFA festival! Five films will compete for the awards in the competition sections, and four will be shown in the noncompetive sections.
