The winners of the 30th Pärnu International Documentary and Anthropology Festival have just been announced. Among the award-winners, there are the films "K2. Touching the Sky" by Eliza Kubarska and "Goran the Camel Man" by Marcin Lesisz.

On August 3, starts the 69th edition of the International Film Festival in Locarno. In the section La Semaine de la Critique, there are two Polish documentary films.
The short feature film by Klara Kochańska was included in the semi-finals of the 43rd edition of the Student Academy Awards. The film was made at the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Lodz.

Good news come to us from Italy. The film "Milky Brother" by Vahram Mkhitaryan won the Best Short Film Award at Ischia Film Festival.
On Saturday was held the award ceremony at Sardinia Film Festival. The Jury's Special Award went to the film "Pinky" by Tomasz Cichoń.
On June 25 was held the closing ceremony of the 37th Durban International Film Festival. "Grandma's Day" by Miłosz Sakowski won the award in the Republic of South Africa.
"Snails" directed by Grzegorz Szczepaniak won the Audience Award for the Best Short Film at AFI Docs, the prestigious documentary film festival organised by American Film Institute.
On June 25 ended the 24th edition of Art Film Fest in Slovakia. "America" by Aleksadra Terpińska returned from the festival with the Special Mention.
On June 25, awards were given at the festival Picurt in Spain. One of them went to Eliza Kubarska for her film "K2. Touching the Sky."
The documentary film by Aleksandra Maciuszek won yet another award. This time, it is the Prémio Olhar Universitário at the festival Cine Ceará.
On 20th June the 27th International Documentary Film Market Sunny Side of the Doc starts in French town of La Rochelle. It is one of the largest industry events dedicated to documentary film, which is annually visited by the representatives of the most important television channels, distributors and film producers from the entire world. Poles present their works there already for the tenth time.
