POLISH PRESENCE AT THE CLERMONT-FERRAND SHORT FILM FESTIVAL AND MARKET

This year's edition of the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival will run from 29 January to 6 February. Both the festival and the accompanying market will be held exclusively online. The latest Polish short films will be promoted by the Polish Shorts delegation, which includes representatives of the most important film institutions in Poland. The international competition is going to feature Damian Kocur's film “Beyond is the Day”.

POLISH DOCUMENTARY CINEMA AS A PART OF FOCUS VISEGRAD AT FIPADOC IN FRANCE

Polish documentary cinema is one of the special guests of this year’s International Documentary FF FIPADOC which will be held in Biarritz, France. Polish films will be screened in the competitions and in the special programme and Polish documentary filmmakers, producers and experts will take part in the FIPADOC Industry Days.

FOCUS ON POLAND: TOMASZ WOLSKI TALKS WITH KRZYSZTOF GIERAT ABOUT “AN ORDINARY COUNTRY”

The latest documentary of Tomasz Wolski - "An Ordinary Country" - is a found-footage film showing controlled conversations, recording with hidden cameras, dirty records of interrogations and recruitment attempts as well as video tutorials for the officers of the security service in communist times. The festival year 2021 is off to a slow start. Despite the fact that January tends to have a small number of festivals, some Polish short films will represent their country at festivals in the United States, Australia, and several European countries.
