Tomorrow, the third edition of the international festival Se-Ma-For Film Festival starts in Łódź. In the programme, there are a lot of attractions for fans of puppet and stop motion animation.

The last week of August brought more awards for our young filmmakers. At the festivals in Slovakia and Italy two fiction shorts were awarded - "Frozen Stories" and "Glasgow."
This year, for the second time in a row, Locarno Film Festival proved favorable to Polish short films! Last Saturday “Battleheart” by Tomek Matuszczak, screened in the competitive Pardi di domani section was awarded a special mention.
This evening, simultaneously in Poland and Slovenia, two screenings of animated films organized by the Stoptrik Festival will take place. The audience in Maribor will watch the programme entitiled Between the Frames // Krakow Film Foundation presents: New Trends of Polish Animation, while the Łódź animation lovers will check the films awarded last year in Maribor.
