TWO POLISH FILMS AWARDED IN ITALY
On the 19th of November ended the Italian Reggio Film Festival. As many as two Polish shorts films were appreciated during the event.
“DANCING FOR YOU” WINS AT IDFA
On November 21, the award ceremony at the IDFA - International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam was held. Three Polish documentary films: "Dancing for You" by Katarzyna Lesisz, "In Touch" by Paweł Ziemilski and "Summa" by Andrei Kutsila return from the festival IDFA with awards.

On November 17th the official award ceremony of the 26th Camerimage International Film Festival took place in Bydgoszcz, Poland. The Golden Frog award of the Documentary Shorts Competition went to ”Horse Riders” by Anna Gawlita.
THE REVIEW OF THE FILM “THE BRIEFING” BY FILIP DRZEWIECKI
"The Briefing" by Filip Drzewiecki is a collective portrait of young people on the threshold, an extraordinary documentary film in which the protagonists instantly grow up under our very eyes. We watch medical students starting their adventure with their work during their medical practice. The camera brilliantly captures their faces and gestures in which hide the fear of making decisions, uncertainty, sadness as well as the fright of their superiors.
POLISH ANIMATED FILMS IN ESTONIA
This Monday, in Tallin, starts a new edition of the festival PÖFF Shorts. The programme includes as many as five Polish short animated films.

“COMING BACK HOME” – AN INTERVIEW WITH RAFAŁ ŁYSAK ON “UNCONDITIONAL LOVE”
Krzysztof Gierat talks to Rafał Łysak whose documentary debut "Unconditional Love" won the Golden Hobby Horse for the best film in the Polish competition at the 58th Krakow Film Festival. The film's international premiere will take place at the biggest in the wolrd festival for documentary films - IDFA - at Competition for Short Docs.

On January 22, the nominations for the Academy Awards will be announced, and earlier the Oscar shortlists will appear. This year, Polish documentary films once again have a chance to be included on these lists and compete for the most important statuette in the world of cinema.
