Yesterday, late evening, after five days of festival screenings, the 37. edition of Annecy Animated Film Festival reached its end. The Crystal for the Best Graduation Film was handed over to Anita Kwiatkowska-Naqvi for her "Ab ovo".

Although a few months passed since "Ziegenort" celebrated its premiere screening at the Rotterdam Film Festival, the 19 minutes long animation by Tomasz Popakul keeps on receiving invitations and awards at film festivals around the world. On Tuesday’s evening Poles triumphed at the closing ceremony of the 16th Egyptian Ismailia Short and Documentary Film Festival. Two Polish films were awarded by the jury of animated film competition.

The Winners of 53th Krakow Film Festival have been announced. Polish documentaries were awarded in both national and international competitions. The Golden Hobby Horse as well as People Choice Award went to the documentary film as well. „Love” by Filip Dzierżawski proved the great Winner of this year’s edition of the festival!

Two Polish films have been awarded at DOXA Film Festival that ended on May 12th. “18 kg” by Kacper Czyubak has won Short Documentary Award and “Feestyle life” by Adam Palenta has received Honourable Mention of the Youth Jury.
