“CLOSE TIES” AWARDED IN KYIV
On June 3rd the Molodist Film Festival came to an end. The award for the best studnet film was given to "Close Ties" by Zofia Kowalewska.

POLISH WINNERS OF THE 58TH KRAKOW FILM FESTIVAL
On Saturday, June 2nd, in the full house of the Kijów.Centrum theatre, the winners of the 58th Krakow Film Festival were announced. The international jury awarded the best documentary, short and animated films, which during the whole festival week were trying to woo the experts and the audience in 6 cinemas in Krakow.

On the 18th of May, in the Studio Theatre in Warsaw, the Award Ceremony of the 15th Millennium Docs Against Gravity Film Festival was held. Among the award-winners, there are a couple of Polish documentary films.

The TRT Documentary Awards have just been given. Marcin Sauter returned from Turkey with the statuette for his film "Zhalanash - Empty Shore."
POLISH FILMS AWARDED IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
On the 10th of May ended the Student Film Festival Opavski Pav in the Czech Republic. As many as three Polish films were awarded there.
THE LATEST SUCCESSES OF THE STUDENTS FROM GDYNIA FILM SCHOOL
"POLA" - the diploma film directed by Edyta Rembała qualified for the FEST New Directors New Films Festival in Portugal and "One Shot" 16th International Documentary Film Festival in Armenia, whereas the film "Between Us," directed by Maciej Miller, won the best short film award at the Ethnocineca - the International Documentary Film Festival in Vienna.
