„Glass Trap” by Paweł Ferdek is the winner of The Best European Film Award at the Tampere Short Film Festival in Finland. The award at the same time is a nomination for The European Film Award for short film. Receiving this prize, awarded by the members of The European Film Academy, let alone being nominated for it, is an extraordinary prestige, especially for a film debut.
We have a great pleasure to announce that Professor JERZY KUCIA, one of Poland's most eminent and esteemed animated film makers active on the international scene, has been awarded this year's Dragon of Dragons by the decision of the Programme Council of the Krakow Film Foundation in recognition of his lifetime achievement.
Last week Krakow Film Festival finished the selection for its 49th edition. We have received over 2200 documentary, animated and short films. Accordingly Krakow Film Market, which accompanies the Festival, has finished the selection for its 49th edition.
Only until 11th February films can be submitted for 49th edition of Krakow Film Festival.
