ANIM: FAST, LOUD AND FULL OF COLORS. AN INTERVIEW WITH TOMEK POPAKUL ON “ACID RAIN”

Since its world premiere at Sundance and Rotterdam IFF "Acid Rian" in still in the festival circuit. During this year the film was screened at almost 50 international film events all over the world, winning more than 10 awards. One of them gave the film an opportunity to be placed on the Academy Award long-list. We talk to its author, Tomek Popakul, about parties in the forest, nostalgia for the nineties and polyamide tracksuits.

DOCS: AN IMPOSSIBLE PROJECT. INTERVIEW WITH MICHAŁ BIELAWSKI ON “THE WIND. A DOCUMENTARY THRILLER”

Since its world premiere at Visions du Reel in Switzerland the latest film by Michał Bielawski - "The Wind. A Documentary Thriller" - was screened in Mexico, Germany, Russia and USA. It was also an Opening Film of the 59th Krakow Film Festival. Recently it was awarded as The Best Documentary at DocsMx in Mexico City, Silver Eye Special Mention and MDR Film Prize for Outstanding Central East European Documentary at DOK Leipzig. Krzysztof Gierat talks with the director about realisation of such a difficult project.

KFF SALES & PROMOTION FILMS AT THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS IN NOVEMBER

In November, there is an abundance of film festivals at which you can watch Polish films. There will be no lack of them, among others, at the Belarusian "Listopad," the German Cottbus FF, the Estonian PÖFF Shorts, the German interfilm, the Spanish ZINEBI, the Portuguese CINANIMIE, the Dutch KABOOM and the Mexican ANIMASIVO, as well as at the IDFA festival in the Netherlands.
