Pauliny Ziółkowska's animation won the best student film award at the Hungarian Primanima festival.
On Saturday, the 27th of October, the award ceremony at the festival Filmets Badalona in Spain was held. One of the awards went to the short documentary film "Dust" by Jakub Radej.
At the beginning of November, the festival Escales Documentaries is held in France. At the festival, Focus on Poland takes place, during which Polish documentary films will be shown.
On the 25th of October, started the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival in the Czech Republic. In the programme of this year's edition, there are five Polish productions or co-productions.
On the 24th of October, during a press conference, we got to know all the films which are included in this year's programme of the festival IDFA. "Diagnosis" by Ewa Podgórska joined the ranks of other Polish productions, which were announced earlier.
By the end of the month the 16th edition of the Russian festival "Multivision" will begin. Three Polish short animations were included in the competition.
On October 21st the Warsaw Film Festival came to an end. Two Polish productions were among the winners.
The award ceremony of DocsMX Festival took place last weekend in Mexico. A documentary film "Desert Coffee" directed by Mikael Lypinski came back from the festival with a Special Mention.
From October 25th to 28th a selection of Polish films will be presented in Istanbul in the "Poland Now" program, which includes feature films as well as documentaries and shorts.
At the turn of October and November, another edition of Cambridge Film Festival is held. In the competition, there are five Polish short films.
At least seven Polish documentaries will take part in this year's edition of IDFA! Four films will compete for awards in the competition sections and three more will be presented outside the competition.
In the programme of this year's Banjaluka International Animation Festival, there are 10 Polish films. As many as half of them will compete for the awards in the competition.
