The situation in the world still does not allow us to fully participate in festival life. Luckily, we can also enjoy film screenings online. April is another month when Polish films can mostly be watched online at international festivals. And there will be quite a lot of those, as the popularity of our films certainly isn't waning.
ANIM: “I’M HERE” WINS ANOTHER AWARD
Julia Orlik's animated film continues its winning streak. This time the film won the title of the best student short film at this year's Kaboom Animation Festival.
POLISH DOCUMENTARY FILMS AT HOT DOCS
The program of one of the major documentary film festivals has just been announced. Hot Docs, which begins at the end of April, is going to feature three Polish documentaries – “Between Us” by Dorota Proba, “Tell Me More” by Martyna Peszko, and “High Maintenance” by Barak Heymann.

The animation created by Julia Orlik has won yet another award. This time, the film stole the hearts of the audience at the Tricky Women/Tricky Realities Festival in Austria.

ANIM: POLISH ANIMATED FILMS AT SXSW FESTIVAL COMPETITION
As many as two Polish animated films were invited to the competition segment of one of the most important independent cinema festivals. Soon Daria Kopiec's “Your Own Bullshit” and Yelyzaveta Pysmak's “My Fat Arse and I” will get the opportunity to bring back awards from South By South West.

SUCCESS OF “BEYOND IS THE DAY” AT CLERMONT-FERRAND FILM FESTIVAL
Damian Kocur's film was awarded by the jury with award for Best European Film. Therefore, it was included on the shortlist of films eligible for a nomination for the European Film Award in the Short Film category.
DOCS/ANIM: “WE HAVE ONE HEART” AWARDED IN AUSTRALIA
The animated documentary by Katarzyna Warzecha wins another award. This time, the film was recognised by the jurors at Flickerfest.
SHORTS: “BEYOND IS THE DAY” WINS IN ITALY
Damian Kocur's film triumphed at the 32nd Film Festival in Trieste. "Beyond is the day" won the award for the best short film.
